The institute emphasizes that very high values of maximum air temperature were recorded between the 7th and 10th of March, due to an easterly current. The thermometers reached values of 30°C in the regions of Braga, Vale do Douro, Beira Litoral, Vale do Tejo and Alto Alentejo. The highest value was recorded in Mora, 30.9°C on day 9.
