The Chamber of Tavira will carry out conservation works in social housing in Atalaia, Horta do Carmo (Tavira) and Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo. The intervention has already been awarded, for a value of around 214 euros, and should be completed within six months.
The objective of the project is «the repair of the interior of houses, owned by the Municipality, which present various pathologies in kitchens, bathrooms, floors and walls», according to the municipality.
"Considering the poor state of conservation of the kitchen cabinets, sanitary installations and floors, as well as the problems of humidity and infiltration, the municipality will proceed with the replacement of materials and the chipping, plastering and painting of damaged walls", according to Tavira Chamber.
