Two initiatives about the Guadiana fish will take place on April 2, the second day of the Rio Fish Festival, at the Pomarão Interpretation Centre, in an initiative of the Guadiana Valley Entrepreneurs Association.

Thus, at 11 am on Sunday, an open discussion will take place with the aim of promoting dialogue between fishermen, specialists and entrepreneurs on the possibility of creating more value around river fishing, as a fundamental activity of the culture of Mértola and the Valley of the Guadiana.

At 13:30 pm, the workshop will take place with the theme “Conserved Rio Fish”, with Chef Leopoldo Calhau. He will teach techniques for preserving fish from the river, which can be applied at home, in local restaurants or even in a commercial perspective.
