Two 31-year-old British men were arrested this Tuesday in Tunis and Albufeira for drug trafficking. In the operation of the Criminal Investigation Nucleus of Silves of the GNR, six cannabis greenhouses were dismantled on a plot of land and inside two houses.

According to the GNR, the military carried out three searches, two at home and one outside the home where they seized 31,5 kilos of cannabis, equivalent to 12 doses, 600 cannabis plants, 480 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, four precision scales, three LCD televisions, two mobile phones, a laptop, a camera, 18,3 euros in cash, lighting, irrigation, ventilation and extraction of odors from greenhouses and fertilizers and other objects associated with the cultivation and packaging of cannabis.

The action had the support of military personnel from the Intervention Detachment of Faro. The detainees will be present at the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) in Silves, where the investigation is taking place, for the application of coercive measures.
