The photography exhibition “Uma Viagem à China” by Doris Ogrin is on display at the Praça do Mar Art Gallery, in Quarteira, until the 15th of April.
According to the Loulé Council, “no other region is as typically Chinese as the Carso hills that surround the city of Guilin, and which stretch along the Li River. Artists such as poets, calligraphers, writers, painters, have always used this region landscape as the source of inspiration for his works».
Due to the subtropical climate, «the fog is almost always present among the hills, and immerses this landscape in a mystical spectacle that is reminiscent of an ink painting from China», adds the municipality.
Through this exhibition, «Doris Ogrin thus comes to share this interesting journey in photography».
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 13:30 pm and from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm. Admission is free.
