The University of Algarve is organizing a cycle of conferences on themes related to Landscape Architecture, which will run until the month of May.

The first of these conferences is already scheduled for Monday, February 6, at 14:30 pm, in the green amphitheater (building 8), where Rosário Oliveira, professor at the University of Lisbon, will speak on “Landscape Policies and the PDMs”, and André Botequilha Leitão, professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UAlg, will address “The New Paradigm for Planning Tourism in Coastal Landscapes”.

Articulating various areas of reflection – art, science, history and heritage – applied to landscape design and planning, the cycle of conferences aims to disseminate research in Landscape Architecture carried out in recent years at the University of Algarve and, simultaneously, broaden the debate to speakers from other institutions.

The initiative, with free entry, is organized by the degree and master's degree in Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UAlg.
