Mafalda Veiga will take the stage at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium on February 11, at 21 pm, to present her latest album “Praia”.
According to the Câmara de Albufeira, this is «a work with an optimistic tone, between pop and the more traditional sounds, which address the singer's daily life».
The municipality of Albufeirense adds that “the nine songs on this new record were written in an impulse for the journey and the future, in search of the timeless strength of the good things in life”.
“Praia” was produced by Fred Pinto Ferreira by Mafalda Veiga and has guest appearances by Marco Nunes, Miguel Barros, Brazilian cellist Dom La Nena and guitarist Frankie Chavez.
In the words of Mafalda Veiga, the songs in this work «were provoked by everyday moments, some lighter and others deeper, inspired by things as simple as a conversation between friends or a lifetime evoked by the sound of a ship leaving the port of Lisbon".
Tickets for this show are on sale at CIAC da Câmara Municipal de Albufeira and at Lidia Jorge Library, on weekdays, between 9:00 am and 16:00 pm, and on the day of the show in the Municipal Auditorium, from 19:30 pm to 21:15 pm. For more information or reservations, call 289 599 645.
