The three crew members of a Portuguese-flagged semi-rigid vessel that capsized about 300 meters from Praia do Mirouço, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, located south of Carrapateira, they were rescued by the Lagos lifeboat.

The alert for the accident was given at 14:17 pm, and the captain of the Port of Lagos, who coordinated the operation, sent the vessel “Diligent” from the Institute of Relief to Naufragos (ISN) and Maritime Police operatives to the site by land. .

“At 15:24 (local time) the ISN boat picked up all the crew, having towed the vessel to the whaling port”, according to the National Maritime Authority.
