autumn ballad, by Zeca Afonso, Bullfight, by Fernando Tordo, or stand by me, by Ben and King, are some of the 18th century songs that will be revisited by Grupo Coral Ossónoba, in the concert “Musicas do Mundo”, to be held on Saturday, February 21, at 30 pm, at the Albufeira Auditorium.

In the first part of this show, the group's youth choir, under the direction of Paulo Sopa, will interpret songs, such as Lonesome Valley ou Non ho l'étá, which won the Eurovision Festival in 1964, This look of yours, by the Brazilian Tom Jobim, and Bonse Tab, a traditional Zambia ditty.

Then, Coral Ossónoba will lead the audience to the 60s of the XNUMXth century, focusing on Portuguese music, with many of the hits that were part of the Song Festivals, and it will also present other songs.

In a work by conductor and composer Nuno Sequeira Rodrigues, who arranged most of the songs, the mixed choir (Coral Ossónoba) and the youth choir (Ossónoba Coro Juvenil), accompanied by Luís Conceição and the Trio Osmose, will play songs such as Leafless, by Simone de Oliveira, with lyrics by Ary dos Santos, He and she, sung by Magdalena Iglesias,  there, there, there, Manuel de La Calva and Ramón Arcusa, Save the child, save the son, by Serge Gainsbourg, or Don't even get me, by Jacques Brel.

To these are added, still, Canzone per you, of Sergio Endrico, Il mondo, of jimmy fontana Not son degno di te, by Gianni Morandi, and Zorba, by Mikis Teodorakis.
