Yesterday, February 6th, the GNR Coastal Control Unit seized 940 kilos of cockles from the Olhão Naval Shipyard.

The bivalves, valued at 2350 euros, because they are alive, were returned to their natural habitat.

During a patrol action, "a vessel" was approached, which was unloading several sacks of bivalve, according to the GNR. Thus, it was found that 'the owner did not have any transport document or registration'.
