The painting exhibition “Expressões”, by the Algarve artist Zulmira Oliva, opens tomorrow, February 14, at 18 pm, in the arcade room of the Municipal Museum of Olhão.
«In painting, as an image, the surprise in reading the unspeakable, initially intimidates but brings a particular emotion involving another language», says the artist in the presentation text of this exhibition.
Zulmira was born in Paderne, and the first group exhibition in which she participated was in 1962, at the 3rd Salon of Modern Art, at the National Society of Fine Arts. This is not the first time that this artist has exhibited in Olhão, as this has already happened in both 1984 and 1991.
