The painting exhibition “Between the abstract and the figurative”, by Marisa Patrícia, opens on February 10th, at 18 pm, and will be open until March 00rd, in the exhibition gallery of the regional delegation of Instituto Português do Sport and Youth (IPDJ), in Faro.

In this exhibition, Marisa Patrícia, from Oyenne, «attracted by the great architectural lines of the city, seeks to convey to the canvas the romantic, traditional and picturesque side of a city envisioned and interpreted by her in each drawn line», explains the IDPJ.

This is because, after a brief foray into figurative style, «it is in abstract art that the author manages to show all her sensitivity, in a true communion of feelings, by representing in her paintings a reality tinged with the most diverse tones and colors, captured by the its subtle and penetrating look», he adds.

Marisa Patrício has a degree in Design Architecture. The painting entered the Center of Pintores from Olhão and from there on his artistic path «has been drawing in an abstract-figurative line that had the invaluable help of the master Martins Leal in the search for that definition», says the IPDJ

This exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 18:00 pm.
