A set of training sessions on the Algarve, «exclusively addressed to employees of Travel Counsellors», is taking place throughout the month of February, at the agency's headquarters in Manchester (United Kingdom), in an initiative of the Algarve Tourism Association (ATA), the entity responsible for external promotion of the «Algarve» destination.

ATA stresses that Travel Counsellors is "one of the largest independent travel agencies in the world, with 1.500 agents globally, of which 920 are in the United Kingdom."

These sessions aim to «provide participants with a set of information about the Algarve, so that they can have a comprehensive perspective and a deeper knowledge of the destination and its offer», in addition to the data contained in its catalogues, having the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any doubts.

Each session has the participation of 20 to 30 professionals from Travel Counsellors, responsible for different functions, such as product managers, sales heads, service operators. call center, Among others.

This is not the first time that ATA bets on this type of action which, «given the efficiency of its format, has been replicated in other markets, with other travel agencies, but also with tour operators and airlines».
