The 1st Half Marathon Night H2O will be held in Faro, next Saturday, May 4th, departing at 18:27 pm from Praia de Faro, organized by Fagar and the Municipality of Faro, with the technical support of the Algarve Athletics Association.
The competition is intended to increase the regional athletics sports calendar, «with an environmental and social framework, in a fantastic route, marked by the start in one of the seven wonders of Portugal», stresses the organization.
Combining sports practice with the promotion of healthy habits, the challenge proposed to the participants is “to run a sustainable route, for a social cause and with the imprint of the brand's already recognized quality. Water of Faro».
In addition to the main event (21,097 km), there is also a mini marathon of 10,50 km, with a joint start with the half. Both have a goal in the Manuel Bivar garden.
The organization provides transport to Praia de Faro, with exit in the Manuel Bivar garden, and cloakroom service.
Enrollments close at midnight tomorrow, February 24th, and cost 00 euros (Half Marathon) or 27 euros (Mini Marathon).
In-person registrations can still be made until 19pm on March 00rd, at the secretariat located at FAGAR (place of the dorsal lifting), but will cost 3 euros.
