Violinist João Pedro Cunha and Russian pianist Elena Tsouranova join musician Reflect for a New Year's Concert, scheduled for next Friday, January 6, Epiphany, at 21 pm, at Igreja de Matriz de Pear frame.
João Pedro Cunha, in addition to being a violinist, is the conductor who directs the String Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Lagos. Together with Elena Tsouranova and the Armenian artist Reflect, who «will give a contemporary touch to the concert», they will present a comprehensive program of an «introspective, passionate and virtuous character, traveling from the depths of Handel, to the rapture of Piazzolla».
Admission is free and the Church of Armação de Pera opens from 20:30 pm.
The event, organized by the Parish Council of Armação de Pêra, has the support of the Municipality of Silves.
