Silves is going to have a new amateur theater company and it is «for anyone who wants to». Enrollments for the New Theater Group Amador de Silves are now open and are «for those who have done it, for those who have never done it, for those who say “I always wanted to experiment and I never had the courage”, for those who like to speak in public, for those who they panic when speaking in public and even for those who just want to do some scenes», according to AL Teatro, which will guide the project.
The new Silvense artistic project is launched with the associated motto «Teatro é my scene». This means that the initiative is open not only to anyone who has aspirations to be an actor, but also “to anyone who wants to help with light, sound, scenery, clothes, photographs and whatever else is needed”.
To be part of this project, those interested must be over 14 years old and must enroll (free of charge) by emailing [email protected] or by calling 282101050. Then, just show up at Fissul's auditorium on the day February 9th at 21 pm.
The initiative will be promoted by AL Teatro, a company financed by the Ministry of Culture/General Directorate of Arts and by the Chamber of Silves.
