Rua Infante Sagres, in Parchal, and the pedestrian route Carvoeiro/Rocha Brava will be revamped.
The Câmara de Lagoa announced the opening of public tenders for the execution of these two contracts, which are part of the urban renewal plan that this municipality has planned for the entire municipality.
At Parchal, the work to be launched will cost around 285 thousand euros (plus VAT) and will focus on the section of the old EN 125 that runs through the town. The intervention area will run from the Lidl roundabout to the old bridge over the River Arade.
In another parish, Lagoa e Carvoeiro, a project of the same nature is being advanced and whose budget is practically the same. The Câmara de Lagoa has almost 285 thousand euros to invest in the redevelopment of the Carvoeiro/Rocha Brava pedestrian route, which includes the placement of walkways and supports and aims to «develop a proposal for the creation of seating areas, viewpoints and support areas in a very large area. appreciated by those who visit us».
Both works should take four months to be completed, from the moment they are awarded.
