The training course «HOME -Family Environment Inventory», which aims to make known this instrument for describing a child's family environment, will take place on the 13th and 14th of January and the 17th and 18th of February at the Silves Library.
These sessions, with a total of 25 hours, will be hosted by the trainer Marta Vidal Paula.
Both on January 13th and February 17th, the sessions are from 18:30 pm to 23:00 pm, while on January 14th and February 18th they take place from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 18:00 pm.
This training course is aimed at professionals or students with higher education in the areas of education, Social Work and Psychology who will be able to learn to develop the methodology of application, quotation and interpretation of HOME, in view of the relationship with its harmonious development.
During the sessions there will be a presentation of the HOME instrument and its versions 0-3 years, 3-6 years, 6-10 years and 10-15 years, as well as the deepening of the application of the version for 6-10 years.
«Simulations and frequent questions in the application and quotation, as well as the discussion of aspects of the application and quotation arising from the trainees' practice will be some of the methodologies to be applied throughout the training», explains Câmara de Silves.
