Silves will host a new edition of the Regional Meeting of Environmental Volunteering for Water (ERVAA) for Youth on Monday, December 5th. This event should bring together at the EB 2,3 Dr. Garcia Domingues School about 150 students from schools in the municipality, in Basic and Secondary Education, to debate themes related to youth volunteering and the environment.
The 2nd edition of the meeting, organized jointly by the Chamber of Silves and the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), will count on the participation of experts from different areas. The closing of the activity, a summary of the main results of the work that will be carried out during the morning, is scheduled for 16 pm, at the Municipal Assembly of Silves.
This session will be attended by representatives of the children and young people participating in the 2nd ERVAA Jovem, from the City Council of Silves and APA, as well as from the Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation – DCNF Algarve, from the Europe Direct center of the CCDR do Algarve, from the company Águas of the Algarve and the Live Science Center of the Algarve.
These last entities are supporters of the meeting, like the General Directorate of School Establishments and the Algar company.
