Albufeira Racing Team present in Africa Eco Race Off-Road

Alexandre Azinhais and Didier Frederico, who make up the «Albufeira Racing Team», will participate in the 9th edition of the «Africa Eco Race» of All-Terrain (TT), which starts on December 2, in the principality of Monaco and ends along the banks of Largo Rosa, in Dakar.

This will be the debut for this pair in a great TT marathon throughout the year, after having already participated in the Merzouga Rally, in Morocco.

Aiming to reach the shores of Lake Rosa, in Dakar, the only two Algarve riders to participate in a great TT marathon at the start of the new year, intend at the same time to honor the names of their fellow Algarveans who have shone on African tracks such as Miguel Farrajota, Nuno Mateus, Ricardo Pina or Ruben Faria.

With more than six thousand kilometers divided by a dozen stages, the competition will cover the tracks of Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal during the first two weeks of the new year, using their KTMs.

The technical and administrative checks will take place on French soil on December 29th and 30th, followed by boarding in the French town of Sète towards Nador in Morocco on the 31st. New Year's Eve will be celebrated in the heart of the Mediterranean that will be crossed before the 2nd of January the race starts definitively.
