CrimeA group of three young people who, on June 9th, robbed four people in Albufeira, was detained by the Judiciary Police, reported today the Southern Directorate of the PJ.

Of these four crimes of robbery, two were "in aggravated form", and, in total, young people stole 1120 euros. According to the PJ, "the suspects decided to assault people who circulated in isolation and in conditions not to offer resistance."

In the first robbery, the group approached "a man who was withdrawing money from an ATM machine", and was pointed at a pistol while being attacked. In this robbery, the suspects were left with 800 euros.

Then, a man who was leaving a nightlife establishment was also attacked and, under threat of a knife, was forced to get up and hand over 300 euros to the suspects.

On the same day, the group tied up two men in the street, robbing them of 20 euros.

These defendants will now be presented to the judicial authorities to apply the coercive measures. The arrest warrants were issued by the DIAP of Portimão.
