Shopping for Christmas in the traditional stores of Odemira can be worth prizes and shopping vouchers, to be drawn among shoppers in the county as part of a campaign launched by the Chamber of Odemira and local merchants, which will run from 1st December to 6th January.
The first prize in the draw is a trip for two people to Ilha do Sal, in Cape Verde, for five days and four nights. Second prize is a hybrid laptop and third prize is a camera. Vouchers of 200 euros (4th prize), 150 euros (5th), 100 euros (6th), 50 euros (7th to 13th) and 30 euros (14th to 18th) will also be drawn.
The draw for the campaign «Christmas is in the Local Commerce» works with participation vouchers, which will be given to customers of traditional commerce stores in Odemira, each time they make a purchase. Those who spend between 10 and 49,99 euros are entitled to one voucher, those who “invest” between 50 and 74,99 euros earn two, and those who spend more than 75 euros receive three participation vouchers.
«The draw of the winners will be held on January 20, 2016, Saturday, at 18.00 pm, at the Paços de Concelho Building. The shopping vouchers awarded in the draw can be used in any traditional trade establishment in the municipality of Odemira, participating in this campaign, until April 1, 2017", according to the Chamber of Odemira, which adds that the objective of the campaign is “appeal to consumption in traditional commerce”.
