An 18-year-old young man was arrested this Wednesday, in Parchal, in the municipality of Lagoa, for trafficking in hashish. The arrest was carried out by soldiers from the GNR's Criminal Investigation Nucleus of Silves.
According to the Guard, in a statement sent to newsrooms, "the arrest occurred following an approach on the public highway, which was followed by a house search of the suspect's residence, located in Estômbar."
In this search, the GNR found and seized 320 doses of hash, a mobile phone, two knives with drug residues, 555 euros and objects associated with the transport and packaging of the product.
The detainee has already been brought to court, for the application of coercive measures, which are not yet known.
