Three bales with more than 100 kilos of hash that landed on the Algarve coast between Thursday and Saturday were collected by the GNR.

According to the GNR's Olhão Coastal Control Unit, the drug packages were recovered from a "20 kilometer stretch of cliffs and beach" in the Albufeira area.

In a statement, the detachment added that, taken together, the three bales had drugs "enough for more than 200 doses of hashish". Surveillance along the coast continues, «involving dozens of soldiers from the UCC and the Territorial Command of Faro of the GNR, in the sense of being seized more narcotic product'.

Speaking to the newspaper Correio da Manhã, Bruno Cordeiro, commander of the UCC in Olhão, revealed that the first bundle was found "by a private vessel on Thursday, about 3 miles south of Albufeira". The next day, in the morning, the GNR discovered another burden, at Praia da Galé. The third bundle was also found by soldiers from this security force, on Saturday morning, at Praia da Rocha Baixinha.
