Martim Longo Partridge FairThe «extraordinary hunting conditions in the municipality of Alcoutim» will once again be in focus at the Feira da Perdiz, which the Alcouteneja village of Martim Longo will host on Saturday and Sunday.

The event will feature colloquia, exhibitions, initiatives related to falconry and hunting dogs, as well as gastronomy based on the many species that it is possible to hunt in the northeast of the Algarve.

The cuisine can be found in the taverns that will be installed on the premises, where there will be game-based dishes, but also typical delicacies of the Algarve cuisine, linked to this time of year, which inspire another event taking place in Alcoutim, the gastronomic festival «Sabores da Serra ao Rio – Flavors of Autumn».

The festival will also pass by Feira da Perdiz, through two gastronomic moments: the presentation of a dish from the Festival "Sabores da Serra ao Rio", by the chef Milene Nobre and the launch of the book "Modernidade e Tradição" by the pastry chef Vítor Branches.

During the two days of the fair, visitors will also have the opportunity to see a photographic exhibition, attend a dog competition, and discover local handicrafts.

The program also includes musical entertainment, with emphasis on the concert by José Malhoa on Saturday, at 22 pm, and two sporting events, the mountain bike ride «Na rota da partdiz», on Saturday, and a race of Marcha Corrida, on Sunday.
