A postman who opened letters in his custody was arrested in flagrante delicto by the Judiciary Police for the crime of violating the secrecy of correspondence. The man was arrested this Tuesday, at 9:00 am, in Loulé, while he was on duty.
Following the arrest, searches were carried out at the 41-year-old man's home and at the Loulé Correspondence Distribution Center, during which it was possible to retrieve an object that had been stolen previously.
The detainee will now be presented to the judicial authorities.
