The dance show “Meia Praia”, inspired by the fishing activity, will take the stage at the Albufeira Auditorium next Saturday, November 19th, at 21 pm.
About this show, the Câmara de Albufeira says that «it is a symbol, which intends to be a reflection, a look at a way of life so marked in Portuguese culture, but also universal».
«Through the text, the performative and architectural work of the bodies, the public is included in this approximation and distance from realities, accompanied by original sounds captured during the research», he adds. There will be “history among the stories of bodies, matter, lives, death”.
Tickets for «Meia Praia» cost 5 euros and are on sale this week at Albufeira Town Council, at the Consumer Information Center (CIAC), and at Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, from 9 am to 00 pm and from 13 pm to 00 pm 14:00 pm and, on the day of the show, at the Municipal Auditorium, from 16:30 pm to 19:30 pm.
This show is organized by the cultural association DANCENEMA and has the support of the Regional Directorate of Culture, as well as the Municipality of Albufeira.
