The 2nd edition of the Solidarity Christmas Algarve Chefs Week is scheduled for December 9th, at the VidaMar Hotel Resort Algarve, at Herdade dos Salgados, in Albufeira. The event will bring together 11 of the most renowned chefs of five-star hotels in the Algarve, with the aim of "brightening" the Christmas of two institutions in the region.
The initiative, «with the main objective of providing a unique experience for children with special needs, will also count on raising monetary funds to be donated in its entirety to the institutions APEXA and APATRIS 21».
In this edition, according to the promoters of the initiative, "the chefs are expected to serve a total of 300 guests, which will allow a donation of approximately XNUMX euros."
«The menu will consist of 5 dishes, harmonized with the best regional wines, which will cost 30 euros per person, in an event that will feature a presentation by journalist Mário Augusto and the performance of singer João Só», reveals the organization.
Tickets can be purchased directly at the hotels of the Algarve Chefs Week group and at the institutions to which the collected funds will be directed: APEXA – Association for the Support of Exceptional Persons in the Algarve and APATRIS 21 – Association of People with Trisomy 21 in the Algarve.
