Six people were arrested and the seizure of LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cocaine, hashish and cannabis was the result of an operation carried out by the GNR Territorial Detachment of Portimão yesterday, 29 October, in Monchique and Portimão.
According to the GNR, 86 doses of hashish, 43 doses of cocaine, eight doses of cannabis, eight LSD tablets and 12,7 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms were seized in the operation.
Five arrests were also made for the crime of trafficking in narcotics and 22 administrative offenses for drug use were drafted. One person was also arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon, and a machete was seized.
In the road area, the GNR made a seventh arrest, but for driving under the influence of alcohol, and 12 administrative offenses were also drafted.
All detainees, aged between 16 and 54, have already been brought before the Court.
