Victor Faria, chairman of Infraquinta's Board of Directors, died this Wednesday following a prolonged illness that affected him and after undergoing emergency surgery.
The funeral of the jurist from Loulé, a man closely linked to tourism, takes place this Friday, October 28, at 15 pm, at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, in Quarteira.
This personality, who has always been linked to the causes of tourism and the region, was currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA). He was also vice-president of the Algarve Hotel and Similar Industry Association (AIHSA).
In the political field, he held positions of PS leader at the municipal level, in Loulé, but also at the regional level. He was also connected to sport, as president of the General Assembly of the Algarve Cycling Association and member of the board of the Algarve Football Association. Another position he held was that of chairman of the General Assembly of the António Aleixo Foundation.
