Forensic Dive of PM_01Since yesterday, the Forensic Diving Group of the Maritime Police (PM) has been searching for a man who practiced underwater hunting and who is reported missing in the Cabo de São Vicente area.

The news of the disappearance was received by the PM of Lagos through a telephone contact from friends, also underwater hunting practitioners, who said that the man in question had not been seen for a few days, «his vehicle is parked in the place where it normally was left», when he practiced underwater hunting.

To carry out the diving operations, a team from the Forensic Diving Group of the Maritime Police was activated, supported, on land and at sea, by agents of the Military Police of the Local Command of Lagos and by the vessel SR33 of the Salva-vida Station of Sagres.

Although the oceanographic and geological conditions of the coast are difficult, with high currents and surf, in rocky areas, it was possible to make several dives, in the places referred to as “a strong possibility that a presumed victim could be found”, but without any result.
