The «Grupo Caminhadas ao Luar» will organize a solidarity run and walk to help the Nursery, the Day Center and the Quinta da Palmeira Home, to be held next Wednesday, October 26th, at 20:00, with an exit together to Quinta da Palmeira Home, in Albufeira.
In the walking mode, participants will cover 12 kilometers, while the running route covers only eight kilometers. Both routes are urban. All revenue from the event reverts to Quinta da Palmeira Day Care Center, Day Center and Home.
Registration, which costs two euros, entitles you to a supply of water, fruit and broth at the end. Participants are also covered by sports insurance, and must present themselves in the race with a vest and reflector flashlight.
At the beginning of the two tests, the participants will finally receive the Kit the race with the password that enables the draw for 3 prizes.
This initiative has the support of the Municipality of Albufeira, the Portuguese Sports and Youth Institute and the Volunteer Firefighters.
What is the «Grupo Caminhadas ao Luar»?
Caminhadas ao Luar is a non-profit or competitive group that every Wednesday organizes walking and running events in the municipality of Albufeira open to the entire population, with free participation and with the aim of encouraging group sports.
