The man, whose arrest was announced by the Judiciary Police on Wednesday, is suspected of "crimes of child sexual abuse, attempted murder, robberies and offense to qualified physical integrity," announced the Public Prosecutor's Office of the District of Faro.

According to the Public Ministry, “the detainee, who is 20 years of age, Portuguese nationality and born in Olhão da Restauração, is suspected of acting as part of a group, in a significantly violent manner, sometimes with a firearm, thus causing , social alarm in the area».

The one now detained is the alleged author of the shot that hit a 24-year-old young man on the head, albeit only grazing, at the Olhão station, on 15 September 2015.

It was, moreover, as part of an operation aimed at locating the young woman, who was in part uncertain, that the man was arrested.
