yellow warningThe return of the rain, scheduled for this beginning of the week, will put the whole country, including the southern districts, under Yellow Warning tomorrow, between 6:00 am and noon.

According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, also in the Algarve and Alentejo there should be “rainfall”, with “periods of rain or showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms”.

For today, however, an increase in cloud cover is expected, although the rain should only be for the North and Center coasts, from the end of the afternoon onwards.

According to the IPMA, today the country will have "lightly cloudy or clear skies, generally being very cloudy on the coast until late morning, gradually increasing the cloudiness from the afternoon onwards". There will also be the “possibility of scattered showers during the afternoon, in the interior regions”.

This Monday, the wind will be light (less than 15 km/h), becoming light to moderate (10 to 30 km/h) from the south quadrant, starting in the late morning and gradually turning to the west.

On the western coast, there will be morning fog or fog, while there will be a drop in the maximum temperature across the country.

Even with cooler weather, on the southern Algarve coast the water remains warm. The IPMA forecasts, for this Monday, waves from the southwest of less than 1 meter, with a seawater temperature of 23ºC.
