The Court of Olhão decreed preventive detention of a man who, on Saturday, attacked a PSP official who was off duty, next to a cafe in that city, announced the Public Ministry.
The attacks resulted in another detainee, also suspected of attempted murder and offense to physical integrity, who was subject to a term of identity and residence, according to a note published on the website of the District Attorney's Office. Faro.
The facts took place on Saturday, in the Siroco neighbourhood, in Olhão, when the victim, realizing that one of the suspects was attacking a woman, intervened in an attempt to resolve the situation.
At that time, he was allegedly punched, with a glass bottle, a cane and a knife by the couple and a family member who had approached.
