Hotel EvaHotel Eva, a landmark of the Algarve hotel industry and in particular of the city of Faro, recently restored and renovated, celebrated its 50th anniversary this past Thursday, September 8th, in a ceremony in which the AP Hotels & Resorts group was also presented.

Integrated in the city's historic area, the hotel was recently acquired by the recently created hotel group AP Hotels & Resorts, which belongs to the MADRE Group, which has already owned the Adriana Beach Club Hotel Resort, in Albufeira, for eight years.

To these two hotel units, the AP group also adds the Hotel Oriental, in Praia da Rocha, and the Hotel Porta Nova, in Tavira. The latter is currently closed for renovations and will open in February 2017 as Maria Nova Lounge Hotel.

Mar Bayo, managing director of the Adriana Beach Resort Hotel for six years, is now managing director of the AP Hotels & Resorts group.

The four hotel units represent diversified proposals that complement each other.

The Adriana Beach Club Hotel Resort, which stood out for being one of the first to institute the All Inclusive regime in the Algarve, is mainly aimed at family holidays.

For its part, the Hotel Eva, in Faro, is one of the oldest hotel units in the region, an urban business hotel, the Oriental Hotel fulfills the offer as a boutique hotel with 90 rooms, on top of Praia da Rocha and the Maria Nova Lounge Hotel will reopen with a new decoration and concept – open to the city of Tavira.

The AP Hotels & Resorts Group reveals, in a press release, that its growth process is «proactive, structured and consistent, taking advantage of external opportunities for the development of internal skills, with the ultimate goal of adding value throughout its environment. , recognizing human capital as the main asset of the group».
