A man who was surprised while dealing with a cannabis plantation in Raposeira, municipality of Vila do Bispo, was detained by the GNR this Wednesday. During the operation, 15 cannabis plants were seized “in an early stage of development”.
According to GNR, the plants were being raised in individual pots inside a property, where several bags of soil and fertilizers were also found.
The drug was discovered during an action of patrolling and surveillance of the forest by soldiers at the GNR's Vila do Bispo Territorial Post.
The 44-year-old man is being presented at the Court of Lagos this Thursday.
