Alexandre Pimenta and Francisco Pacheco, two football juniors from Portimonense, moved to Veneza, Italian club, on 26 August. Both will play in the under-19 team.

Upon arrival at the club, Francisco Pacheco, who plays at central, confessed to Veneza television that "the main objective is to reach the first team". Alexandre Pimenta, on the other hand, is forward and revealed his desire to "grow within the club, passing through Veneza C and Veneza B, to one day reach the first team".

Francisco Pacheco and Alexandre Pimenta's connection to Venice began to be troubled: on March 22, the two players were at Brussels Airport, when the terrorist attack took place, from where they would travel to Venice, in order to testify at the Italian club.

Despite what happened, the young people from Portimo escaped unharmed and would end up traveling to Italy a few hours later.
