The 19th edition of the Rio Arade Canoeing International Subway will take place on October 15th, announced today the Silves Chamber.
The competition will have two strands – one for nautical tourism and the other for competition, aimed at Clubs and Associations – with departures planned for the riverside area of Portimão, next to Clube Naval, at 11:00 am (nautical tourism) and 11:30 am (competition).
The event will end in Silves, where the awards ceremony will take place.
Enrollments run until October 10th and cost 5 euros, just for tourism.

This initiative is jointly organized by the Municipalities of Silves, Lagoa and Portimão and the Clube Naval de Portimão, which has the support of the Portuguese Canoeing Federation, the Algarve Regional Canoeing Association and Lara-Laranja.
