Turismo do Alentejo/Ribatejo promotes, from tomorrow, August 24th, the territorial marketing action “Disligue. Return to Postcards”, in the river areas of Alentejo and Ribatejo.
As explained by the regional tourism authority, "the initiative aims to invite tourists who have chosen the territory for a vacation or a few days of rest to take a picture there and send it to family and friends."
The photograph will be immediately printed on a postcard and given to the bathers, who will only have to place it in a CTT frame so that it can be sent to the recipient. Images can also be shared on social media.
Alentejo/Ribatejo Tourism also says that “during the action – which also aims to thank tourists for having chosen the territory for their holidays – umbrellas with the Alentejo and Ribatejo brands will also be distributed, as well as caps with the same signature'.
The action, whose first phase took place on the main beaches of the Alentejo coast and in the Sorraia river area, in Coruche, and during which more than 1500 postcards were offered, will be put into practice in Amieira Marina (Portel), Tapada Grande (Mértola ), Montargil (Ponte de Sor), Maranhão (Avis), Ribeira Grande (Frontier), Portagem (Marvão), Alamal (Gavião) and Escaroupim (Salvaterra de Magos).
