D. Dinis SchoolThe D. Dinis School, in Quarteira, will be requalified, with an investment of 4,2 million euros.

In order for this work to proceed, a protocol was signed between the Municipality of Loulé and the General Directorate of School Establishments, with the municipality being responsible for carrying out the work, installing furniture, teaching materials and equipment, as well as for the execution of accesses and infrastructure to support the functioning of the school.

According to Loulé City Council, the school building “is in an advanced state of degradation and the need for a deep intervention has long been defended by the municipal government as the main priority in the area of ​​construction of new school equipment”.

To help finance the work, the Municipality of Loulé also refers that "last week it presented a dossier for the application to the FEDER, within the scope of the Algarve Regional Operational Program – CRESC Algarve 2020".
