The Quarteira GNR announced today the arrest of a 52-year-old man for drug trafficking. During the operation, the Guard seized 9,5 kilos of cannabis, equivalent to 19 doses.
According to the GNR, "at the end of the afternoon, following a situation of aggression, the patrol went to the residence of one of the interveners, and found that a greenhouse for the production of cannabis was operating inside".
In addition to the drugs, "a complete system of lighting, irrigation, ventilation and extraction of odors, various objects associated with the cultivation and packaging of cannabis and various fertilizers, airtight bottles and bags, five mobile phones and 430 euros" were also seized. .
The detainee was presented to the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of the Public Ministry of Loulé, but enforcement measures are not yet known.
