The Lagoa Reserva DOP 2014 wine, awarded at the IX Algarve Wine Contest, and still on the market, will be presented at FATACIL with a mega toast, early this Saturday night, the 27th, in which all visitors are invited to participate.
On stage, FATACIL receives the unique music of Ana Moura. On Sunday, visitors have the last opportunity to see the show with high school horses by Gari Zoher and, at the farewell of this edition of the biggest fair in the Algarve, to watch a show by Rui Veloso.
Free daily wine tastings from various regions of Portugal are still highlighted in the 2016 edition of FATACIL and, on Saturday, it is possible to taste wines from Carcavelos, Colares and Bucelas, while on Sunday it is the turn of the Ribatejo region.
Today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday, it is also possible to watch the presentation of Pedro Torres, World Champion of Work Equitation, at 21 pm.
In the Espaço Lounge, inaugurated this year and which hosts the «aMAR a TERRA», where it is possible to taste what is most genuine in the Algarve, the workshops continue.
“A arte da Empreita”, which teaches the ancient technique of plaiting the palm, one of the main forms of handicraft in the Algarve, takes place today and Saturday at 19 pm. Also on Saturday, it is possible to learn more about Algarve recipes, with a cooking demonstration at 00:19 pm.
TICKETS
For the first time, tickets for FATACIL can also be purchased online, in 3 versions: individual, family. It's a way to avoid the lines at the entrance to the fair.
The single ticket costs 3,50 euros, the family ticket (for 4 people) costs 12,50 euros. Entry to FATACIL is free for children up to 12 years old.
