It was a Sunday of all emotions at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, with the various FIM CEV races revealing surprises and confirmations.

Thus, the South African Steven Odendaal managed this Sunday, in Portimão, secure the European Moto2 title 2016, supplanting the Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima.

In the premier class, the Superbikes, it was Carmelo Morales who ensured victory in both races. But the Portuguese Tiago Magalhães was 2nd in the first race among the privates in the Superbike (his best position ever) and, in farewell to Portimão, he finished the 17 laps in 4th position in the class.

For its part, the Portuguese driver Ivo Lopes, from Lisbon's Kawasaki Oneundret Racing Team, This Sunday took an important step towards the European Superstock 600 title, after winning both the class races held at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
