Little bowls of Alvor, D. Rodrigos, Sericaia, Nun's Belly, Pie and Almond Pie, Orange or Carob, Morgados, Doce Fino. These are just some of the proposals for the Mostra do Doce Conventual, which continues today and tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, in the cloisters of the Convento de São José, in Lagoa.
It is a true paradise for foodies, to which we can add liqueurs, jams (such as those made by the nuns – real! – from the Convent of São Bento da Porta Aberta, in Gerês), honey, medronho brandy, gin , the ginjinha in a chocolate cup.
The show also features shows and moments of entertainment, entertainment and culture, every day, from 22 pm onwards. Today, the concert of the night will be in charge of the group «Sneaky Mouse» and tomorrow will be the turn of the «Lucky Duckies». Admission is free and the show opens at 00pm.
