The Rosa Branca beach, in Quarteira, will host, this Saturday and Sunday, the III Stage of the National Footvolley Championship.
In the competition will participate 26 athletes that make up the 13 pairs in competition. According to the Portuguese Footvolley Federation, “some of the main and best known figures of the sport will be in Quarteira (…) in search of the highest place on the podium, precious points in the national ranking and prize-money at stake”.
The event starts at 14:00 on Saturday, with the Group Stage, which will last until the beginning of the night, until the first eight finalists of the competition are found.
On Sunday, the competition resumes at 14:30 pm with the quarter-finals, followed by semi-finals and, at around 17:00, the tournament final should be played.
This event is organized by the Quarteira Beach Sports Association in partnership with the National Football Federation, and its main supporting entities are the Municipality of Loulé, Quarteira Parish Council, A Bola Newspaper, A Bola TV and Benecar.
