Alexandra Ciobanu_4«Palácio Bivar» is the title of the photography exhibition by the young Alexandra Ciobanu, which runs until the 15th of July, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão.

The exhibition, which opened on the 1st, is part of the PAP – Professional Aptitude Test, the final project of the Multimedia course, which Alexandra, aged 19, took at the Escola Secundária Poeta António Aleixo. On the day of the PAP and the inauguration, Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes was filled with the young photographer's teachers, colleagues, family and friends.

«This “Palácio Bivar” project intends to portray the History and Architecture used in the building where the Portimão City Council currently operates», explained Alexandra Ciobanu, who has been «in love with the world of Arts, especially with Drawing and Photography» since she was a child .

The young photographer, born in Moldova but living in Portimão for nine years, stressed that “through photography, I intend to transmit messages and interpretations of my vision of the real world”.

At the opening of her exhibition, Alexandra also had the presence of the oldest living photographer in Portimão, Mr. Francisco Oliveira, who agreed to pose with the young woman.

In the future, Alexandra Ciobanu intends to continue her studies and will try to enter the University of Bournemouth, in the South of England, in the Event Production course. But he also doesn't want to abandon photography, he assured, in statements to Sul Informação.
