CRESC Algarve 2020 has opened new competition notices, to support individual projects in innovative activities within the scope of the Business Incentive Systems, in the type of investment designated as "Business Innovation", as well as, in the scope of the Business Incentive Systems, in the typology of Investment called “Entrepreneurship”.
In the case of projects of Productive Innovation, the purpose of this competition is to grant financial support for investments in innovative activities (product or process), which contribute to increasing tradable and internationalizable production and to change the productive profile of the economic fabric, through the development of innovative solutions based on the results of R&D (research and technological development).
Remodeling works and other constructions that, for example, in the case of projects in the tourism sector, contribute to alleviating seasonality (namely accessible/senior tourism) or that contribute to the development of the products identified in the Plan can be supported in this competition. Algarve Strategic Marketing as complementary (Gastronomy and wines, Touring, Health tourism) or under development (Business tourism, Nature tourism); or, in the case of projects in the industry sector, which fall within the scope of RIS 3 Regional and which contribute to the development of innovative solutions based on R&D results and on the integration and convergence of new technologies and knowledge.
The beneficiaries of the support provided for in these notices of competition are companies of any nature and under any legal form, which propose to develop projects that meet the objectives and priorities referred to in the notices.
As for the new notice of competition within the scope of the Business Incentive Systems, in the typology of Investment called "Entrepreneurship", this competition has the specific objective of granting financial support to investment projects carried out by companies, created less than two years ago, as part of a new activity.
Remodeling works and other constructions can be supported which, in the case of projects in the tourism sector, contribute to alleviating seasonality (namely accessible/senior tourism) or which contribute to the development of products identified in the Algarve Strategic Marketing Plan as complementary (Gastronomy and wines, Touring, Health tourism) or in development (Business tourism, Nature tourism).
In the case of projects in the industry sector, projects that fall within the scope of RIS 3 Regional and that contribute to the development of innovative solutions based on R&D results and on the integration and convergence of new technologies and knowledge may be supported.
In this Notice of competition, the alignment with the thematic priorities of the Regional Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS3) is also valued. Individual Qualified and Creative Entrepreneurship projects, which translate into the creation of a new establishment, are eligible for support.
The beneficiaries of the support provided for in these notices of competition are SME companies of any nature and under any legal form, which propose to develop projects that meet the objectives and priorities referred to in the notices.
