The IX National Symposium on Research in Psychology (SNIP) takes place at the University of Algarve from June 30th to July 2nd, in the Grand Auditorium of the Campus de Gambelas.
According to the organization, «after the success of the last edition, in 2013, which brought together hundreds of researchers, professionals and students in the field of Psychology, the SNIP intends to be a privileged space to publicize the work carried out in different areas of Psychology, not only by Portuguese researchers who are already experienced, but also by junior researchers or postgraduate students who are now starting their research path».
The organizing committee says that «as in previous editions, we intend to bring together researchers and professionals in this event whose work has supported the development of research and practice in Psychology in Portugal».
This year, the organization intends to extend the participation to international researchers, namely from Spain. Another novelty "related to the fact that the minutes, previously submitted and accepted after blind peer review, are published in the journal Psicologia, recently indexed in the Web of Science", adds the organizing committee.
The APP Career Research in Psychology awards and APP Young Researcher in Psychology awards will be awarded at the event, as well as the Best Poster Award from SNIP 2016.
The National Psychology Research Symposium is an organization of the University of Algarve with the Portuguese Psychology Association.
