Next Saturday, Casa do Alentejo, in Lisbon, will promote a Day of the Parish of S. Martinho das Amoreiras, municipality of Odemira, with various exhibitions, displays of regional products and cultural entertainment, with the theme “The Mountain from S. Martinho goes to the city”.
The day of activities starts at 11:00 am, with an exhibition of handicrafts and the sale of regional products, such as bread, sausages, cheese, honey, sweets and arbutus. During the morning there will be a performance by Grupo Coral Vozes Femininas de Amoreiras-Gare.
From 14:30 pm, the afternoon will be filled with the presentation of popular poets and accordionists from the parish, the performance of Grupo Musical Amoreirense and Grupo Coral Vozes Femininas de Amoreiras-Gare. In parallel, from 16 pm, at the Taberna da Casa do Alentejo, there will be Cante ao Baldão.
This is an initiative of the ADA – Association for the Development of Amoreiras-Gare, with the support of the Parish Council of S. Martinho das Amoreiras and the Municipality of Odemira.
